DEBATE & EXHIBITION PRACTICE

Debate and exhibition practice is an experiment investigating an alternative substitutes of things.

 

Can an exhibition be in a form of debate? Is it also possible to view a debate as an opinion-led game?

The practice is the collaboration between master students of POLIS, Maastricht Academy of Fine Art and Design (MAFAD), and master students of curatorial programme from Maastricht University.

The debate consists of art statements calling for physical and intellectual action from participants and non-participants. That means everyone is considered as a participant and required to explain their agreement, disagreement and neglect to the statements.
